SWReady Disaster Response

Through our Voice over IP phone service, SW Voice, we offer SWReady.
During times of natural disaster, we know that you have a million things to worry about. It’s important to know who you can count on. We can help take care of your communications needs. During natural disaster events we offer SWReady. This means that we will provide communications services not only for SW Voice customers, but also for any person or business affected by these events.
We will provide temporary numbers, caller ID masking, phones (if available), and mobile applications free of charge for up to 30 days after a disaster. In addition, support will be included for all incidents (e.g., configuration changes, number routing, and auto attendant recording).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided phones and mobile apps, conference bridges, and texting, at no cost to medical clinics, restaurants, retail stores, and others to help them maintain communication with their staff, patients, and customers.
JOLT! Cyber Challenge
JOLT! is a weekend-long cybersecurity-themed capture the flag (CTF) competition held each year by The Venture Center. Participants include military personnel, industry professionals, and college and K12 students from across Arkansas and surrounding states. Over the years, it has grown to become the premier cybersecurity event in the state.
Experienced professionals can help guide junior personnel, university students can mingle with industry veterans, and K12 students get to learn a little more about what our Arkansas colleges have to offer in terms of technical education. Most recently, sponsoring companies have used it as a recruiting event to fill Arkansas jobs with Arkansas professionals.
Chris has been a Game Master since 2017 and the lead Game Master since 2019. He donates countless hours of his time throughout the year to organize the event, develop puzzles, and mentor participants.

Main Street Food Truck Festival

Downtown Little Rock Partnership began focusing on Main Street’s empty buildings and boarded up windows nine years ago. They formed a task force that has met monthly to guide plans for streetscape, safety, and incentives to spur development of existing buildings. In that process, the Main Street Food Truck Festival was created to support Downtown Little Rock Partnership and to bring people back to Main Street.
More than 10,000 people visit the festival every year, and it has helped revitalize the area. The festival has also won several awards in the state and the region.
As a downtown resident, Michael has participated on the the Main Street Food Truck Festival Committee for over nine years and was the Chair for five. He has donated countless hours to helping the festival be a success and was named Volunteer of the Year at the 2018 Downtown Partnership Annual Meeting.
